An Alternate world

This story is set in what we know as North Dakota, USA, however in this world, the story is set in Sequoyah within the Great Plains Territory. The population here is about 70K.

Before WWII ended, the US economy collapsed during WWII, Canada proposed that the US, Canada and Mexico come together and the majority of people voted for that, with Canada in leadership of this.

There aren't many landmarks in Sequoyah, however there are two distinct things; a old tree that came with the immigrants and was replanted here in Sequoyah, it's dubbed the "100year tree", as every 100 years or so, it is rumoured to suddenly be covered in runes that then vanish without a trace.

The other noticeable landmark is the memorial in the park, where an old tank has been repurposed into a giant statue, with flag poles surrounding, memorialising the war.

The students of Martin Luther King Junior (MLK jr) Highschool are often seen at the bowling alley in town, before and after school these students can be seen in the parking lot behind the school, which was once the old bus stop.
